The weather’s getting warmer, flowers are blooming, that cut-grass smell is in the air...yes, spring is finally here. So even if you’re responsibly staying indoors as much as possible these days, we recommend kicking off the new season in style with an at-home hair color project, such as going lighter for spring. Listen up, blondes, we did a deep dive into all the hottest blonde hair color trends for spring 2020. And don't worry, keeping your blonde shade looking fresh through shelter-in-place is more than doable if you get our Color Kits delivered right to your door. So pick your fave from our suggestions below, order yourself a kit, and start fresh with a gorgeous new spring blonde shade. Here’s what we’re loving this season:

.Honey blonde. If you’re someone who isn’t afraid to try warm tones, what’s more classic than honey blonde hair color? For a super springtime-y, warm and golden honey blonde that will make your complexion look brighter, go for a medium honey blonde like Tremiti Blonde 9NG. Such a sweet look.

.Dimensional neutral blonde. Ok, hear us out—for this low-maintenance look, you actually want to opt for a neutral light brown shade for your roots. If you’re growing out highlights or have sun-kissed lightened ends, this is the look for you. Apply a light brunette color like Umbria Light Neutral Brown 7.5NNA to your roots only. Then, follow up with one of our gorgeous Color Reviving Gloss shades for blondes, like Prosecco (to add warm golden tones) or Crema (to get rid of brassiness), on your mid-lengths and ends. These days, we love a look you can easily grow out.

.Champagne blonde. Cheers to spring, why not toast to a gorgeous new champagne blonde hair color? We love Sicily Blonde 8NGV, a bright prosecco shade with hints of gold that’s a longtime favorite of many clients. Fresh new color? We’ll raise a glass to that.

.Coppery caramel blonde. A warm, caramel, ever-so-slightly reddish golden blonde like Ravello Blonde 8NGC feels more like spring than just about anything aside from daffodils and a light cardigan. As several reviewers have noted, it’s the perfect light strawberry blonde shade.

.“Grays? What grays? Nothing to see here” blonde. How much do we love Lusia Dark Blonde 8.5NNA? Let us count the ways. It’s the quintessential neutral blonde, neither too warm nor too cool. It’s perfect for medium to dark blondes. And it’s our first blonde shade created specifically for stubborn grays. If you’re a blonde in need of heavy-hitting gray coverage, this shade is your best bet.

.“Embracing my roots” blonde. Think dark roots and platinum ends, only a little softer. This ombré-lite look is perfect for salon-goers who don’t have an appointment on the books for the next few months. We recommend using our Light Works® Balayage Highlighting Kit in either Palmi Warm Honey or Sorrento Cool Vanilla on your mid-lengths and ends, depending on whether you want to go warmer or cooler. As for your dark roots, just leave ‘em be...call it #StayHome chic.
